Stillwater Spa couples massage

One of the highlights of Stillwater Spa is the Couples Sanctuary treatment room, complete with fireplace, jacuzzi and candlelight where you can languish in a 30 minute soak in your private whirlpool followed by 60 minute side-by-side massages.

Stillwater also offers a variety of massage and body treatments, facials, aesthetic services and even a hairstylist at this 5-star hotel spa.

Check out the luxury, serenity and wellness that awaits you during a Spa Day for yourself, with friends or a loved one.

The Stillwater Spa is located in Yorkville at 4 Avenue Road (at Bloor Street West) in the Park Hyatt Toronto.

I am excited to be starting my RMT career at one of the leading spas of Canada. I hope to see you there soon for a Massage Therapy treatment.

Choosing a spa that’s right for you

Couples Massage at a spa
Some of the best Massage Therapy treatments in Toronto can be found in spas alongside complementary modalities like body scrubs, saunas, steam rooms and other hydrotherapy options.

You may prefer to have a Registered Massage Therapist treatment at a spa to a multidisciplinary clinic because combining Massage Therapy with other spa and aesthetic services makes for a more complete treatment. Or perhaps you want to pamper yourself more and simply enjoy the spa atmosphere.

Not sure where to go? Check out blogTO’s recent roundup of The Best Spas in Toronto.

Regardless of which spa you choose, make sure the Massage Therapy treatment is done by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). If you ask for a receipt for insurance purposes, this will ensure you get an RMT.

Other considerations to keep in mind when choosing a spa include the type and variety of services you desire. Are you going just for a Massage Therapy treatment? Do you plan to book a couples massage? What are the treatment rooms like? What is the level of customer service like? If relaxation is your prime concern, how does the overall atmosphere make you feel afterward?

Visiting a spa regularly and getting a Massage Therapy treatment can have tremendous benefits, including reducing or eliminating pain, improving joint mobility, reducing muscular tension, improving circulation, increasing relaxation, stress reduction and overall improvement in your health and well-being.

Today I am an RMT

Today I am a Registered Massage Therapist.

This long journey began for me in May 2015 when I enrolled in the Massage Therapy program at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy.

This certificate is the culmination of 2,200 hours of education, including hospital placement and community/corporate outreach. It is the recognition of putting in countless hours studying detailed anatomy and physiology. And reviewing and practicing various techniques and protocols to successfully complete oral-practical and written board exams.

I could not have accomplished this without the ongoing support of my friends and family. I also owe a lot to my instructors and several colleagues at school, for their knowledge, guidance and support.

Coming into this field as a second career enabled me to pursue my passion for helping people after accumulating enough life experience to realize my full potential and ensure that I am the best Massage Therapist that I can be.

I look forward to being the best hour in your day.
